Legacy Leavers was founded to support the idea that there are people who are so humble, so self-depracating and selfless that unless we search for them and tell their stories people we will never find out what they are doing. Legacy Leavers is a site to say, “Thank you” to all the thousands of individuals who daily get up and think about others and what they can do for them……….whether it be cancer patients, hungry orphans, abused children, slaves, or any of the 100 other causes that warrant our attention. They begin each day with a purpose!
We want to hear your stories about people you know who are leaving a legacy………..cause let’s face it, you can’t take anything with you so you might as well leave something behind. What is your legacy!
Over the past 30 years I have come across many people who have made a choice to leave behind a legacy of some kind by attempting something so big that without the support of many it would never happen. But they didn’t stand still while the dream went unrealized, they moved forward with a vision to make it happen. How? They didn’t know. When? None could say. With what? There was no money.
Our goal is to bring together individuals who share a common goal: Believing that We can change the world if We all make a decision to do OUR part in this effort. Whether it is feeding 3 homeless people with burritos and starting a worldwide revolution in the Burrito Project or just volunteering once a week to visit cancer patients or running a marathon to raise money for MS…………..we are all called to be responsible to this world we live in and the people who share space. Legacy Leavers is for everyone.
